Today on Light on the Hill, we look back to the day of restoration. Where through death of Jesus Christ, you and I could now experience restoration with God Almighty.

We’ll hear how parables and riddles can help us understand concepts and principles in today’s lesson from Ezekiel chapter seventeen.

At this particular time Israel was worshipping many false gods, including the god of pleasure. It’s eerily similar to what’s going on in the world today.

In our study of Ezekiel chapter fourteen we’ll notice what happens to those who impatiently insist on their own way. They’re vulnerable to false prophets.

Jesus warned repeatedly to be on the lookout for false prophets, especially as the end times approach. So we would be wise to prepare and to stay alert. Today’s Light on the Hill will help us do that.
